I bought this product thinking I was going to need to add some Oetiker clamps onto my faucet kegging setup, but didn't realize until after I purchased the produce that the setup comes pre-assembled. I am impressed by the weight and durability of the product, and will keep it for use in the future. In addition to Oetiker clamps, this tool is highly recommended with connecting CO2 & beer lines.
This tool is just what it looks like. It works well, and gets a good grip on the ear of the Oetiker style clamp. Its action is a bit stiff, which is a plus because it helps position the clamp with one hand while holding the hose in the other.
The unit I got was rusty on part of the head, which is somewhat disappointing for a new tool. It doesn't compromise the tool in a real way, though, and I'm sure a little WD-40 would clean it up.
