An all time classic with the hopheads, this bold beer does justice to the original. This beer gets it's unique flavor from surprisingly few ingredients, maybe simple really is better. This recipe has two malts, Pale Ale for a base and Caramel 120 for its recognizable color and malty flavor. It uses four types of hops, Chinook, Chinook, Chinook and Chinook at 60 min, 30min, 15 min and flameout. The unique flavor comes from the hop schedule, not the variety. Thank you Stone Brewing for inspiring this delicious clone!
