Belgian IPA - Mini-Mash Extract Recipe Kit

(No reviews yet) Write a Review

Kegconnection's Belgium IPA comes from two distinct beer styles, the IPA and the Belgian Triple.  The tripel is known for it's dry, fruity flavors and high alcohol content.  The IPA is best know for it's hoppyness.  Both styles have a lighter color.  This recipe combines the best of both of these characteristics with an IBU of around 63 and an alcohol by volume of around 8%. If you like these two styles you will love this recipe.

This recipe uses a Belgian style yeast.  Because of the high alcohol level you may need two or more yeasts packets or to do a starter.  Please note that because the Imperial brand yeasts we have listed with this recipe have a much higher cell count you can use just one of these yeast packets, so even though the yeast is a little more expensive this option will save you money due to needed less packages.
