This recipe is an amazing spin on the classic IPA beer. The beer's natural fruit juice and hazy appearance are an enticing feature of this beer. If we have not sold you yet, the aromas and tasty notes definitely will! This beer has a very powerful citrus and cascade aroma & flavor with each and every glass you pour.
We have combined the hops from the the very popular West Coast IPA style with the newer hop styles of the New England IPA, to make the ultimate IPA for your taste buds. Pair these with the fruity esters from our English yeast strains and you get a well complimented flavor. The added amount of flaked wheat creates a thick, creamy, white head that fuses with all of the tropical citrus aromas.

- With the large quantity of hops, this beer is set to be brewed for a 6 gallon batch (in the fermenter).
- If using RO or distilled water, we recommend you add 3 g of Gypsum & 8 g of Calcium Chloride Pellets to your mash & 2.5 g of Gypsum & 5.5 g of Calcium Chloride to your sparge water. This will highlight the tropical aromas from the hops and give you a pleasant, soft mouthfeel.
- The process that causes the haze is Biotransformation. Normally you dry hop a few days before kegging or bottling, but in this recipe we recommend you add the hops 2-3 days into active fermentation. The available proteins from the yeast at this early stage of fermentation fuse with the polyphenols from the hops, causing a permanent haze.
