One of the most brewed beer styles in the world, this is truly a classic. These beers are the base for many other beer styles, like American Lagers. Although the Czech's may have invented the Pilsner (and make a great one as well!) when people here the word Pisner, they think German. The style is know for it's crisp taste, pale color and beautiful head. This beer is clean and refreshing. It is enjoyed year round by beer drinkers all over the world. It is a "must brew" for any homebrewer. Because it is a lager, it does need to be fermented at a lower temperature and "lagered" (aged at a low temperature), but it is worth the patience. Prost!
