The Northern English Brown Ale is one of two styles of Brown Ale. It tends to be a little dryer than a Southern English Brown Ale. Besides this, they are very similar . It has a chocolatey, toasty, biscuity flavor with hints of nuts. It is very smooth and well balanced. To get the full flavor profile it is better served a little warmer, but if you are drafting the beer you can pour in into a warm glass and you will tell a difference as you are drinking the beer and it starts to warm up a little.
