This dryer version of a English Brown Ale is from the northern regions of England.  The malts used produce a biscuity, chocolatey, nutty flavor with a bit of toast on the side. This beer is very smooth and easy to drink because of its wonderful balance.  It is recommended that it be served at a slightly warmer temperature in order to appreciate the full flavor profile.  This beer is lower in alcohol as well, in the 4.5 alcohol by volume range.  This is a great beer to have in the keezer during one of those cold Northern English Days, even if your not in England!
