This is the Stout for people that want to try the style without having to worry about that big, sweet or super dry taste. Based off the traditional Stout, you will still receive that great roasted flavor, a rich mouthfeel and aromatic notes of chocolate and caramel. The addition of oats to this recipe will give you a mix of a creamy, full-bodied beer with a brown head that has become a favorite of ours.

  • Ferment at 66 – 68 degrees
  • Est. Original Gravity: 1.053 SG
  • Est. Final Gravity: 1.016 SG
  • Est. Alcohol by Volume: 5 %
  • Bitterness: 30 IBUs
  • Est. Color: 31.5 SRM
