The OYL-052 strain is a very unique Saccharomyces strain that was formerly classified as Brettanomyces. It produces delicate, tart, tropical, mango and pineapple fruit characteristics and features a fairly high attenuation percentage and alcohol tolerance. Keep in mind that this strain does prefer higher fermentation temperatures than a lot of common ale strains.
