This is a re-conditioned 5 Gallon Pin Lock, Soda Keg (Coke style). This keg has been cleaned and soaked in a hot "Brew Clean" solution, re-rinsed, lubed and re-pressurized to check the seals. The kegs are in good shape, but could have small dings, dents or scratches. The lid features a gasket seal and a static pressure release valve. These will not effect the function of the kegs. Many have stickers on the outside. They might be of either Cornelius, Firestone (also called Spartenburg) or Italian construction. All types of kegs are manufactured to the same specifications and are of the same quality. The lids and O-rings are interchangeable. We fully guarantee your satisfaction with the kegs you purchase. ***FREE O-RING PROMOTION: 1 LID, 2 POST AND 2 DIPTUBE O-RINGS FREE WITH YOUR ORDER!***

  • Many people prefer pin lock kegs when using in shorter Fridge or areas where height is important. They 22" tall and 9" Wide.

Please remember that these are used kegs.  They will have dings, dents, stickers on the outside and could have some permanent staining that will not effect your beer.  If you want a perfect keg we sell new kegs as well.

Again - these are used kegs and are returnable but you will pay the shipping to return them.

    Great for the price

Great deal for the price. They were shipped quickly and came pressurized to prevent damage. They look very well worn but everything works fine. Came with extra gaskets. This is not my first purchase of these kegs and it certainly won't be the last.

    great value

Posted by joseph roby on 9th Jun 2017

I have ordered a total of 5 of these kegs over the past few months. The are used and a little rough, but hold pressure and only one had a slight dent on the exterior.

Like others have said you simply swap out the seals and clean with pbw and star san and pressure test to make sure all new seals are installed properly.

only complaint i would have would be that I needed to replace the poppets on two posts.. the small o ring was leaking on both and it was cheaper to just order new poppets.

I plan on buying more and always make sure to order extra seals and poppets to keep on hand for any normal maintenance.

    nice deal

My keg arrived holding pressure. Shipping with QD's makes using a pin lock keg with my otherwise ball lock system a breeze.

My keg was tan up top (rather than the normal black). Kind of ugly, but, for the price no big deal.

    functional and affordable

These are used, so set your expectations according. If you do you will be happy with your purchase. Keg came in exactly the condition I expected, a little rough around the edges. But came pressurized and cleaned. I removed the old seals replaced them with the new free ones included, gave it a once over with PBW, sanitized it and kegged my beer that day. All connections were in great condition, held pressure exactly as it was supposed to. Could not ask for a more affordable way to get into kegging. Don't hesitate if you are having second thoughts, buy this today.

    5 gal corny keg

I'd buy another. Keg was slightly pressurized on arrival proving that it seals. Came with a new set of o-rings. I did have to replace some o-rings as my disconnect wouldn't seal. Outside was in decent shape, not that it matters - it's a used keg.

    PURCHASED THREE SO FAR

The first pin lock keg I ordered had a problem so I called and Keg Connection fixed it right away. I have since ordered two more. No further problems. Great service and price.

    Pin Locks Need love Too!

    Posted by C.L. on 21st Mar 2017

While everyone else buys up the ball locks, I'm perfectly happy buying pin locks!
3rd keg I've purchased from kegconnection, and sure to not be my last. While they may not be the prettiest, they send oring kits with each keg, and after a pbw bath and rinse with star san, they serve up my beer just fine.
I haven't found a better price or faster shipping anywhere else.
