This is a re-conditioned 5 Gallon Pin Lock, Soda Keg (Coke style). This keg has been cleaned and soaked in a hot "Brew Clean" solution, re-rinsed, lubed and re-pressurized to check the seals. The kegs are in good shape, but could have small dings, dents or scratches. The lid features a gasket seal and a static pressure release valve. These will not effect the function of the kegs. Many have stickers on the outside. They might be of either Cornelius, Firestone (also called Spartenburg) or Italian construction. All types of kegs are manufactured to the same specifications and are of the same quality. The lids and O-rings are interchangeable.   • Many people prefer pin lock kegs when using in shorter Fridge or areas where height is important. They 22" tall and 9" Wide.

 

 

Please remember that these are used kegs.  They will have dings, dents, stickers on the outside and could have some permanent staining that will not effect your beer.  If you want a perfect keg we sell new kegs as well.

    Way better deal than any homebrew shop. I have bought several of these now, and usually when they go on sale. Only had one so far that I cannot remove the gas or liquid post on, probably just need to buy the correct tool.

    Kegs were ordered as part of my keezer build. I went with pin lock for the shorter height, as I wanted my keezer to be the same as the counter . The 3 kegs were pressurized and clean, no dents and the tops and bottoms in good shape

    Going in I knew I was getting a used pin lock keg. I received a used keg. Pretty good condition exterior wise. Interior was in excellent, clean shape. Very satisfied with the price point and extras I received also. Recommended

    I had previously received a keg from Keg Connection. The threads on the body connect gas in were stripped. I called Zack and he shipped me a new body connect. Based on this response, I ordered another keg which just arrived. It looks good. Can't beat the price or service!

    When I started kegging beer 23 years my first kegs were pin-locks. I prefer them as the connections are "idiot proof" (you cannot mix them up). These used kegs are in very serviceable condition and come right to your door. I had one minor issue that was resolved immediately by Keg Connection in a more than satisfactory way. Good luck finding anything close to this deal on craigslist in your area.

    Received 3 days after ordering...kegs were fine, and included new orings, and free disconnects! Take advantage that everyone wants ball locks, and get these for dirt cheap. I find pin lock shape more ergonomic for lifting, and they fit well in my keezer. Banged up on outside, but clean on the inside, and in some cases I didn't need to replace existing rings.

    Lid was in bad shape

    Pressure release valve was in pretty bad shape. The valve did not have a top on it, but it did work. I will probably have to replace valve or lid soon.

    All used kegs come with the disclaimer "may be dented and scratched" and most arrive with remnants of syrup or whatever else the keg was previously used for. This one however is the first keg I purchased that was actually clean on the inside. Didn't smell like cola or crap and was actually clean. They were also pressurized to ensure you have a good seal. Kegconnection defintely went above and beyond. Will definitely be buying from here again!

    I like soda style kegs for the convienence of space. And I've purchased them used from various (and sometimes dubious) outlets. This one was by far the best I have purchased. It is in great shape, came with new o-rings, new line fittings, and filled with c02. I was quite pleased with it and shipping was faster than expected. Big thank you to Keg Connection. Will be buying again.
