Posted by Unknown on 26th Nov 2015

received the tap coupler in great time wrapped well. Tapped keg, had some issues tapping was not a smooth tap as with other couplers. Main issue was trying to get beer to faucet. first tapped and beer flow ck good, next day none. ck all connections and re tapped keg still nothing. un-tapped and pulled fittings off and ck seals etc. not much to really ck. pulled out the rubber ck valve and ck to see if poss that it would not allow gas to enter keg, appeared to be sealed at end, pulled apart the seal replaced and re tapped keg and all works now?

Solid coupler - gas output barb is huge

Posted by Nick on 21st Dec 2014

The gas output tailpiece that comes with it is huge - 7/16 maybe. It also isn't a "standard" tailpiece as it has a rubber checkvalve molded. I replaced the tailpiece with a regular 5/16 one I had and it works fine.
