This is a re-conditioned 5 Gallon Pin Lock, Soda Keg (Coke style). This keg has been cleaned and soaked in a hot "Brew Clean" solution, re-rinsed, lubed and re-pressurized to check the seals. The kegs are in good shape, but could have small dings, dents or scratches. The lid features a gasket seal and a static pressure release valve. These will not effect the function of the kegs. Many have stickers on the outside. They might be of either Cornelius, Firestone (also called Spartenburg) or Italian construction. All types of kegs are manufactured to the same specifications and are of the same quality. The lids and O-rings are interchangeable. - Many people prefer pin lock kegs when using in shorter Fridge or areas where height is important. They 22" tall and 9" Wide.
Please remember that these are used kegs. They will have dings, dents, stickers on the outside and could have some permanent staining that will not effect your beer. If you want a perfect keg we sell new kegs as well.

Clean and in good shape
Normally used kegs come beyond beat yup, these kegs look almost new. Orings and seals all look good so far no issues.

don't expect perfection
I ordered 2 kegs on Black Friday around 10pl and received them on Monday! They both appeared to have been rinsed out well and the outside was fairly clean as well. Solid kegs for the price. A few tips for future keg owners: Treat any rust spots with liquid bar keepers friend. Never use oxy clean/pbw for an extended about of time in old kegs. It is a oxidizer and will speed up any rust on your keg. Yes, SS will rust and most soda kegs are decades old and have had plenty of opportunity to do so. I didn't notice a spot on one of my other kegs at the very bottom and oxy ate right through it. Go ahead and replace all seals, use keg lube on them.

Kegs
These were my first Kegs from Kegconnection. All four kegs were hold pressure. Disassembled all components, in order to clean the components and only broke a pin on the gas side. Great product for the price.

Optimistic But Let Down
My first keg from kegconnection. I have yet to hook it, but I have my doubts it will work from the go. The pin lock posts have rust spots, the post o-rings are cracked from dry-rot, the red handle is sun-baked and cracking. I'm afraid to pick it up when full in fear the handles will break. I've purchased other kegs through competitors and understand what a used keg looks like. This one leaves something to be desired.

Great price on a very usable keg.
My second keg from Kegconnection. New o rings are provided. The original ones were in need of replacement so its great that they are included. I have zero issues. The keg is dented but completely usable. If you don't want a dented keg, spend much more money and get a new one. If you want a very usable keg at a great price, get this one.

Great product again
This is the second time I have purchased from this company. Both transactions have gone off without issue. The kegs are as promised and quite clean. I will buy from them again if needed.

clean kegs, imposible to remove posts
the keg were clean and in great condition. HOWEVER, the taking the post apart was alos impossible. I had to lever to take them apart, causing a pin to come come off from to gas posts on different kegs. I hope keg connection does something about it.
