This is a re-conditioned 5 Gallon Pin Lock, Soda Keg (Coke style). This keg has been cleaned and soaked in a hot "Brew Clean" solution, re-rinsed, lubed and re-pressurized to check the seals. The kegs are in good shape, but could have small dings, dents or scratches. The lid features a gasket seal and a static pressure release valve. These will not effect the function of the kegs. Many have stickers on the outside. They might be of either Cornelius, Firestone (also called Spartenburg) or Italian construction. All types of kegs are manufactured to the same specifications and are of the same quality. The lids and O-rings are interchangeable. - Many people prefer pin lock kegs when using in shorter Fridge or areas where height is important. They 22" tall and 9" Wide.
Please remember that these are used kegs. They will have dings, dents, stickers on the outside and could have some permanent staining that will not effect your beer. If you want a perfect keg we sell new kegs as well.
Again - these are used kegs and are returnable but you will pay the shipping to return them.

Excellent opportunity at price
I picked up 3 more of these during the sale. I've ordered a total of five in the last year. All have been in operational order (and handles have all been attached firmly) as well as having been cleaned and pressurized for the trip. The shipping took a little longer than normal this time, but this was probably because of the number of kegs going out during the sell, so... it is what it is. They always come with pressure relief caps and a new set of 0-Rings (though since they pressurize for shipping you know that the rings that come with them are still usable and probably just need a rinse). Will definitely order from KC again.

Great price
I purchased 3 of these, and they shipped quickly. The insides appear to have been cleaned, but the exteriors definitely needed a scrub down. 2 of the kegs were perfect, but 1 has a very loose connection where the rubber handle attaches. It's loose enough that I don't lift it using the handle for fear of it breaking. That being said, they are billed as being used and in "good shape" and as they listed, it does not affect the function of the keg. I will order from Keg Connection again.

Exactly what i ordered but...
It's a used 5 gallon corny keg. Didn't realize that the lid did not have a pressure release valve. What is pictured is a safety valve. Had to purchase a $15 lid with a pressure release valve so i can control the amount of CO2 if i over fill it. ***NOTE from Kegconnection: Pin Lock Kegs have never had a manual relief valve. I am not sure why this rating would be lowered for providing exactly what was advertised? There is no reason to replace the lid. We send a separate depressor that you can use to relieve the pressure using the gas post poppet. This is how Coca Cola and home brewers have done this for over 40 years. It works fine that way.
